Hazelnut Iced Coffee with Cold Foam

Hazelnut Iced Coffee with Cold Foam

Yields: 1 Drink

Prep time: 5 minutes

Ingredients:

  • Hazelnut Cinnamon Coffee (brewed strong and chilled)
  • Heavy Cream (2 tbsp)
  • Milk (2 tbsp)
  • Honey (1-2 tsp, or to taste)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Coffee Base: Brew your hazelnut cinnamon coffee and let it cool completely. Fill a tall glass with ice. Add 1 tsp of honey directly to the ice (it will slightly seize, which is nice) and pour the cooled coffee over it, leaving an inch of space at the top.
  2. Make the Honey Cold Foam: In a small, high-sided cup or jar, combine the heavy cream, milk, and 1 tsp of honey.
  3. Froth It: Use a handheld milk frother (or shake vigorously in a sealed jar) for 20-30 seconds until the mixture is thick, airy, and holds its shape.
  4. Assemble: Gently pour or spoon the honey cold foam directly over your iced coffee.
  5. Serve: Enjoy immediately. The sweet foam will slowly mix with the spiced coffee as you sip.
